The role
As an AI Workflow/Software Engineer at Vasco, you’ll be part of an ambitious team that applies AI technology to real business challenges every day. Together with our consultants and tech leads, you will design, build and optimize AI systems that help our clients work smarter, faster and more efficiently. You’ll move quickly from prototype to production, ensuring that what we build doesn’t just look good on paper, but delivers measurable impact in practice.

Your day might include

• Build RAG pipelines that deliver business-critical answers with citations.
• Orchestrate end-to-end workflows via APIs, webhooks and automation tools (Make, n8n, Zapier, custom Node.js/Python).
• Build AI agents for real tasks, proposals, ticket triage, product copy, QA, meeting summaries.
• Integrate securely into client stacks (Vercel, Supabase, Azure, GCP, AWS; on-prem/VPC).
• Set up CI/CD, logging, versioning and evaluations to prove impact.
• Translate messy client processes into streamlined automations.

What you bring

• Solid software background in Python.
• Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, automations, and workflow orchestration.
• Familiar with GenAI foundations: prompt design, embeddings, vector search, agents.
• Hands-on with tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain/LlamaIndex, Make, n8n, Zapier, Supabase.
• Nice to have: GitHub Actions, Vercel, Docker, CI/CD; structured evals; feature flags.
• Nice to have: You’ve built something with LLMs that actually saved people time.

• Prefer data-safe deployments (VPC/on-prem where required), minimal data egress.
• Systems are trained on client knowledge and tuned to their workflows.
• We measure: latency, accuracy, cost, usage, and business KPI uplift.
