Realisation and roll-out of a future-proof workplace concept at a regional government organisation

An ICT service provider has called on Vasco to help realise a project aimed at realising the cloud ambition of a regional government organisation. A target architecture has been set up and implemented for this purpose, after which various business applications must be migrated. Vasco’s contribution to this project lies primarily in the implementation of program and stakeholder management.

• Vasco has fulfilled the role of program manager on an interim basis. 

• In this role, the main focus was on strong process guidance, safeguarding internal and external stakeholder management and contributing ideas at both the tactical and strategic levels.

• The coordination and cooperation with technical project managers has improved.

• Program back on schedule by means of a so-called ‘reset’.

• The division of roles between the technical and functional managers has been clarified, after which the transfer to a separate program manager with the right IT and architecture background is guaranteed.

• The programme was completed without the need for Vasco’s input.
